Don’t know whether to use DGV or dbGaP?  The Library can help!

The medical library has arranged for a university-wide trial to Open Helix™. This robust resource provides over 100 online tutorials on dozens of bioinformatics databases and resources. The tutorials are categorized into main topics such as prokaryotic and eukaryotic genomes, nucleotides, proteins, variations, pathways etc.  You can also search by word, phrase or sentence for the most relevant resource to your area of interest. This resource provides just-in-time training for busy researchers.

To access OpenHelix™ please visit here.

Any feedback that you could supply would be extremely helpful in our decision to pursue purchasing this resource.  Please visit here to complete a brief survey about OpenHelix™.

This trial is open until July 15th.  Remember to use the VPN if connecting from off-campus.
