How do I access a School of Medicine thesis?

Theses completed by students at the Schools of Medicine, Nursing, and Public Health are available in print or electronic format. You can identify and locate a thesis by using ORBIS. Pre-1900 medical theses are kept in the Historical Library and require a supervised appointment for access. Since 2006, graduating medical students submit both a print and electronic copy for the Yale Medicine Thesis Digital Library (YMTDL) Project.
