Health Literacy Month

In celebration of Health Literacy Month, patrons are encouraged to explore a curated selection of books from the library that highlight the importance of understanding health information. Health literacy refers to how well patients and caregivers can find, understand, and use health information and services to make the best health care decisions. These works cover various aspects of health literacy, such as understanding medical jargon, navigating healthcare systems, and promoting wellness and preventive care. Visit the library to borrow these books, and for additional information on health literacy and ways to promote it, go to: Health Literacy | NNLM.

ALERT: Due to inclement weather, the Medical Library will have a delayed opening at 10am on Tuesday, February 24.
