Yale University Library is pleased to announce a new Read and Publish Agreement with Sage.
Under the agreement, article processing charges (APCs) are waived for Yale and Yale New Haven Hospital (YNHH) authors publishing in Sage hybrid journals. You can view the full list of eligible titles on the Sage website.
Please note that this agreement does not cover Sage’s gold open access journals, or the former Mary Ann Liebert titles recently acquired by Sage.
How to Publish Open Access with No APC
- Be the corresponding author, responsible for managing the manuscript and all publication‑related communication, including approving article proofs.
- Have an article accepted for publication during the agreement period (January 1, 2026–December 31, 2028).
- List Yale as the affiliated institution and use a yale.edu or ynhh.org email address during submission.
