Casey Phillips, MLIS, AHIP, is a Clinical Research and Education Librarian for the Cushing/Whitney Medical Library at Yale University. She provides training, consultation, and literature searches in support of evidence synthesis reviews, patient care, clinical research, animal welfare, and grants.

Casey is an active contributor to the health sciences library profession, having served in leadership and volunteer roles within chapters of the Medical Library Association, including her current service with the North Atlantic Health Sciences Libraries Chapter (NAHSL). Her professional interests include advancing health equity, supporting evidence-based practice, and exploring the intersections of climate change and public health.

She received her Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) from the University of Missouri – Columbia and her BA in International and European Studies from the University of Oklahoma. She has worked for the University of Kansas Medical Center and the University of Missouri – Kansas City Health Sciences Library.
