John is the Director of the Cushing/Whitney Medical Library. He provides leadership and is responsible for the overall administration, organization, and development of the Medical Library.

John received his MLS in Information and Library Science from Southern Connecticut State University, a BS in Management from Southern Connecticut State University, and Teastais Náisúinte i Staidéar Gnó from RTC Galway in Ireland. John was a 2012/2013 NLM/AAHSL National Leadership Fellow.
