Holly provides strategic vision and operational leadership to the Cushing/Whitney Medical Library. She is responsible for the facility, budget, collections, and the library staff, a talented group dedicated to advancing research, education, and clinical care by connecting the Yale health sciences community with the information, data, evidence, and services they need. She sees the library as a lively crossroads of ideas: a collaborative research environment spanning physical and virtual spaces, and an inclusive, inviting place where students, faculty, trainees, staff, and researchers unite to learn, work, and advance human health.
Holly was an Associate Fellow at the National Library of Medicine, a NLM/AAHSL Leadership Fellow in 2022-23, and the Estelle Brodman Academic Health Sciences Librarian of the Year in 2018. She was awarded the Linda K. Lorimer Award for Service to Yale University in 2016. She received her MS in Library Science from Simmons College and AB in English from Georgetown University.
Holly has lived, worked, and traveled for 18 years in Europe, Asia, South America, and Africa.
