The Medical Heritage Library was a consortial digital collection that promoted free and open access to quality historical resources in medicine. The Cushing/Whitney Medical Library, a member of the Medical Heritage Library, contributed a number of digitized volumes in support of the rich medical historical collections available from many medical heritage partners. The Medical Heritage Library collection, including Yale’s portion, is still available online through Internet Archive.
