Love Data Week 2024

Love Data Week 2024 will be held February 12-16, and once again will be co-hosted by the Medical Library and Digital Humanities Lab.

The 2024 Love Data Week theme is “My kind of data.” Love Data Week is an opportunity to celebrate data, especially your kind of data (whether that be clinical, qualitative, 'omics, zebrafish, geospatial, you name it!), and to learn new skills for working with data. It's also a great time to step back and reflect -- loving data can be hard, and this year features two events that can help.

• Keynote Event: "That's My Kind of Data!"

    • Please join us for this exciting panel event where a trio of data experts will discuss their affinity for and experience with various data types.

• Library Data Trainings:

  • 2/13 - Break Up with Excel

    • Are things strained in your relationship with Excel? Feeling like it's time to try out a more flexible and reproducible data tool? Maybe it's time to break up with Excel and get together with Python or R instead!
