Embase is a database covering international biomedical literature from 1974 to the present. All MEDLINE records are included in Embase, as well as over 5 million records not covered in MEDLINE. Embase is especially strong in its coverage of drug therapy, pharmaceutical research, and medical devices. Embase also provides a global perspective in medicine, with coverage of journals published in 90 countries.
